In the wake of the entry of COVID-19 as a new entity on the planet, two important historic developments are unfolding. The first historic development is that, for the first time in human history, we all have been thrust into the same conversation. That conversation is about how best to “engage and communicate” with this new entity as an interdependent species so that it does not continue to do harm to our individual and collective Well Being (our minds-bodies-spirits). A part of that engagement and communication process involves the various attempts by our best scientific minds to develop a vaccine and various methods to strengthen our individual and collective immune systems.

In alignment with the mission of AHP, a second historic development is the emergence of global platforms, initiated originally by Ubiquity University under an umbrella format called Humanity Rising. On these platforms many kindred spirits are engaged in dialogue about how best to create a new humanistic reality that recognizes our interdependence nature as a human species, as well as how best to work interdependently in harmony with Nature and Mother Earth (Gaia). So far, from May 22, 2020 to August 20, 2020, there have been 83 Humanity Rising events on Zoom and various live streaming platforms. These events involved daily keynotes, panel discussions and partner events 8:00-10:00 AM Pacific/5:00-7:00 CET (Central European Time). As AHP Co-President, I have had the privilege of participating in most, if not all, of Phase I of these Humanity Zoom events.

As a service to AHP members and for those interested in “humanity rising for a new humanistic reality,” beginning September 1, 2020, AHP will be using its Facebook platform as a one of over 40 live streaming partners to broadcast Humanity Rising events (https://www.facebook.com/AHPsych). September 1, 2020 will mark the beginning of Phase II of Humanity Rising events. Currently, the streaming partners broadcast to 15,000-20,000 viewers per day.
