The Meaning Behind Your Symptoms
[--> HYBRID EVENT. Sign up using the buttons below. <--] Carl Jung believed that our emotional symptoms were more than just problems to fix—they were messages from the unconscious, inviting us to deeper understanding. In this presentation, Jungian analytic candidate Clay Turner will explore how Jung's theory of complexes—those "living units of the unconscious"—unfolds in real clinical work. Drawing on cases and theory, we will discuss how personal and cultural complexes carry symbolic meaning, and how therapy becomes a space where those meanings are lived, struggled with, and transformed. After the talk, Clay and fellow Jungian students will lead an open discussion and Q&A. $10 fee. $5 for members. Class size is limited to the first 12 participants, so RSVP now to reserve your place by calling The Human Potential Center at 512-441-8988!
